The dates have been set for the state tournaments. Although this only affects our Peewee and Mite A teams we wanted to let everyone in on the dates. Both teams are in tournaments that are fairly close by this year so go cheer them on if you are available!
Peewee team---3/5-3/7 in Avon
Mite A team--3/12-3/14 in Watertown
When the individual tournament schedules are set we will get them out to the specific teams.
GO KENT!!!

Thank you to everyone that braved the weather, that by the way was better going than coming, to join us for movie night!
A wonderful time was had by all, and we hope we have begun what we think will be a long lasting tradition at KYH.
The children and parents both enjoyed dinner and the movie.
The Board of Directors at Kent Youth Hockey would like to formally thank South Kent School for their continued support of our organization.
Thanks as well to North End Trattoria for their amazing generosity in making dinner happen for our patrons.
A very special and much deserved thanks goes out to Max Brande and Ava Lee for their very special help in preparation, set up and movie time service...good job guys!!
Please look for our next family get together in the coming weeks!!

Then we have good news for you!!
Kent Youth Hockey is happy to announce that our newest sponsor is Annie Bananie!!
For the remainder of the season Annie Bananie will be running our snack bar for your practice/game time convenience....
Please drop by for a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or breakfast snack....hot dogs will also be offered during the later games
We would also like to let everyone know that Backcountry Outfitters, in addition to their skate sharpening service, is currently carrying a supply of hockey supplementals including hockey tape, hockey laces, mouth gaurds and water bottles!

Kent Youth Hockey is very excited about next years season of hockey. For the 2009-2010 season we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting competitive travel teams at the mite, squirt, peewee and bantam levels.
In honor of our 45th year serving the greater Kent community of young skaters, we would like to offer a special discount for all of our returning travel team skaters. For all skaters that have their paperwork and deposits in by May 1, 2009, we will deduct $45 from your final balance due.
Paperwork required for registration at this time are the registration form and letter of commitment which can be found on the website in the documents section. Part of the registration form is initialing that you have read and agree to abide by the information put forth in the parents handbook and the zero tolerance policy. Both of these items can be viewed by going to the documents section and clicking on them. It is not required to print them out and hand them in signed, just initial the registration form that you have read them. In addition to the paperwork, a non-refundable deposit of $300 per skater will be required to receive the discount. Skaters will also be required to register through USA Hockey at a later date and submit some additional paperwork at that time.
Registration paperwork may not be emailed in. We are required to keep copies of these documents with original signatures.
This discount does not apply to learn to skate or hockey development, but we have some fun things in store for you as well!!
