Learn to Skate/Hockey Developmen

Welcome to Learn to Skate/Hockey Development

To get started you will first need to register your child. Please follow these steps:

-on the left hand menu of this website complete the "online registration", this will put you in our local database so that you will receive email notifications and updates on a regular basis. This is very important as KYH no longer relies on phone chains for communication.
-visit USAHockey and register your child with them, you will receive a confirmation email which you should immediately forward to
-visit our documents section and print, fill out and mail in numbers 1 through 4, our mailing address is P.O.Box 726, Kent Ct.06757
-Cost for the season for learn to skate and hockey development is $250. Please include a check for this amount when you send in your paperwork.

All skaters in the learn to skate program must wear a USAHockey certified helmet and "hockey" skates. Figure skates are not permitted.

Additional and suggested equipment are:

-knee/shin guards
-elbow pads
-shoulder pads
-neck guard
-hockey shorts
-hockey stick (if your child has never played before you will want to get them a "straight" stick
-mouth guard

All of the suggested additional equipment is absolutely required if your child will be playing on a team.
